In November 2025, Slovenia experienced a 3.1% decline in tourist arrivals compared to the previous year, totaling 0.301 million—marking the lowest figure since February. This follows an 8.8% increase observed in October. The decrease was evident in both foreign and domestic arrivals, with foreign numbers dropping 3.1% to 196,077 and domestic figures falling by 3.2% to 105,663. Among foreign visitors, arrivals from Croatia decreased by 4.4%, Italy by 23%, Austria by 10.8%, and Serbia by 2.6%. However, arrivals from Germany showed a substantial increase of 17%. The number of overnight stays mirrored this decline, also falling by 3.1% to reach 0.73 million, with the average stay lasting 2.4 nights. Cumulatively, from January to November, the country welcomed 6.617 million tourists, representing a 6.1% growth compared to the same period last year, and recorded 16.96 million overnight stays, up 5.9% from the previous year. Foreign tourists made up 75% of all overnight stays, with the majority arriving from Germany.
